Dad of 5-Year- Old Arrested for Giving Her Alcohol

ALEXANDRIA, lA. (AP) - Alexandria police say a man has been
arrested for allegedly giving his 5-year-old daughter alcohol.
William Moore, age 49, of Alexandria, was booked with
second-degree cruelty to a juvenile, according to The Town-Talk
newspaper.
According to the police report, the girl's mother told her
daughter that she could go to her father's home around noon on
Sunday. The woman said that the girl returned home around 8:15 p.m.
and appeared to be intoxicated. The girl later became sick and was
hospitalized.
