DA Seeking Fines From Former LHA Members

New information tonight on the Lafayette Housing Authority..

Fifteenth Judicial District Attorney Mike Harson is seeking fines from former LHA members Joe Dennis, John Freeman and Leon Simmons.

The fines stem from a closed-door meeting on October 26th.

Harson says the three men failed to publish a public agenda on the subject of the closed door meeting.

All three men deny wrong doing and have appealed their dismissal to the city parish council.
