Crowley began it's Christmas festivities with "A Holiday Affair." The event featured carolers throughout the evening, along with a children's hand bell choir. Many shops on N Parkerson Road were open during the event showing off their holiday flair. Some of the buildings were even synced with Christmas music on 93.3 FM.

"Tis the season. It's about presents, and it's about happiness, and it's about Christ. So enjoy your christmas everyone," Crowley Mayor Greg Jones said.

Wednesday night, they will finish off their Christmas with the parade. It will begin at 6 p.m. The lights will remain up through January 3, 2013.

Just down I-10, Rayne was having their Christmas parade. It was held a day later than scheduled because of storms. After the parade, Santa stuck around to make sure every kid was able to take a picture and let him know what they wanted for Christmas.
