Crowley police catch burglar in the act

Crowley police officers caught a burglar in the act. When officers responded to an alarm at business in the 1500 block of Parkerson Ave., they found Larryl Fisher, 28, inside the business, according to Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson. The burglary happened around 2:00 a.m. on Dec. 30. Fisher is charged with burglary and has been arrested and convicted for multiple burglaries in the past, Gibson said, "We will research the criminal record of Larryl Fisher to confirm that he qualifies as a habitual offender under state law. It is our intention to request that he be tried as a habitual offender."
