Crowley Police arrested a Baton Rouge woman and are looking for another accused of felony theft. Lykendra Givens, 32, is accused of stealing by using a payroll card.
Payroll cards look like bank debit cards and are used to access money from paychecks. "The females were using a payroll card and were traveling to various cities along Interstate 10. In all, 4 cities were targeted by the suspects," Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson said. Crowley Police have issued a warrant for Ebony Givens' arrest.

The suspects would confuse the clerks to obtain money that wasn't available on the card, he said. Givens was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on two counts of Felony Theft. Anyone with information on Ebony Givens' whereabouts should call Crowley Police at 337-788-4110.
