Crowley Police have arrested two individuals and have charged them with the December 4th burglary of a residence on South Avenue N.
The police investigation revealed that the suspects went to the victim's residence and entered the residence while the victim was sleeping. One of the suspects entered the residence and removed two televisions and a DVD player. As the suspect was exiting the residence, the victim observed the suspects enter a vehicle and flee the scene. The suspects were known by the victim and were identified.
Officers with the Crowley Police Department were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the suspects. "As officers located the suspects, they were able to recover some of the property, but believe that some of the property was sold or traded for narcotics" stated Chief K.P. Gibson.
The suspect were arrested on scene and charged with Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. They are identified as Kaynie Lyons, 25 of Crowley and Christopher J. Wilson, 40 of Crowley. Both have been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
