A Crowley man, Kaleb Gibson, 18, is facing four charges after being accused of selling crack cocaine in Eunice. "An informant working with detectives called Gibson and ordered $450 worth of crack cocaine," according to Eunice Police Department Deputy Chief Varden Guillory. Police set up a location for the alleged drug deal and say Gibson ran when officers approached him. Police say they caught him after chasing him for about a 1/2 mile.
Two people in the vehicle with Gibson got away in Gibson's car. Gibson is charged with conspiracy to distribute schedule 2 CDS crack cocaine, transactions involving drug proceeds, violation of the uniform CDS law, and flight from an officer. His bond has been set at $13,000.
