Crowley man booked in sex case

CROWLEY, La. (AP) - State police have arrested a 46-year-old Crowley man accused of having sex with an underage girl on three occasions in August.
Detectives say in a news release that Randal Trahan was booked Tuesday on three counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Troopers began investigating the case earlier this month after receiving a complaint from Crowley police.
If convicted, Trahan faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine on each count.
It was not immediately known whether Trahan had an attorney.
