Crowley church vandalized for second time less than a year

Crowley police are investigating a vandalism at a local Church of Christ.

Pastor Larry Guidry says he walked into his office this morning at the North Eastern Avenue sanctuary to find a bookshelf knocked down and a message reading, "You taught me lies," written on his desk. Guidry also says that the perpetrator ransacked the auditorium, knocking down the pulpit in the process.

According to Guidry, this is the second time his church has been hit by vandals. Last year, someone threw a window threw a rock through a window at the place of worship.

If you know anything about this crime, call the Crowley Police Department at 337-788-4110 or Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers at 337-789-TIPS.
