Crime Stoppers seeking public's assistance

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is seeking the public's assistance in solving several theft cases.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is currently investigating two (2) separate thefts which occurred on December 24 & December 26, 2013. These crimes occurred in the Branch area of the parish.

The first incident occurred in the 7000 block of Branch Highway. Stolen were a Honda 500 four wheeler, a 50 cc dirt bike, a black utility trailer, several ice chests and frozen meat.

The second incident occurred in the 1300 block of Praire Hayes Highway. During this incident thieves stole a Honda 500 four wheeler, green in color and a white GMC truck (which has since been recovered).

Investigators believe that the suspects in these cases are the same.
