BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - A gunman robbed a Barksdale Federal Credit Union location in Bossier City and four people were taken into custody in connection with the crime.
Police say an employee was opening the business Wednesday morning when a man rushed in with a handgun and demanded money. The employees gave him the cash he demanded and nobody was harmed.
Bossier City patrol officers and K-9 units immediately converged on the area looking for the suspect. Two people were detained about a half an hour after the robbery. Two others were arrested later. Some of the money has been recovered and police say they are continuing to look for evidence.
