Crash Leaves 3 Year Old with Serious Injuries

A bad crash in Vermilion Parish has left a 3 year old child with serious injuries.
State Police say a car drove off the road at Highway 82 and Highway 3147 in the Pecan Island area Saturday evening.
The car went down an embankment and into a body of water, completely submerging it.
he 3 year old was airlifted to lafayette general, the driver and five other occupants were also transported to lafayette with minor injuries.
