CPSO Assistant Warden Graduates From National FBI Academy

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Assistant Warden for the Calcasieu Correctional Center and CPSO Honor Guard Team member, Jeffrey B. Miller, graduated from the 252nd Session of the FBI National Academy at Quantico, Virginia on March 22, 2013. He was one of 268 law enforcement officers who participated in the academy.

Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy Program offers ten weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected law enforcement officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. Miller also completed the 6.1 mile obstacle course which is known as one of the most challenging courses for law enforcement leaders.

Assistant Warden Miller has 14 years of law enforcement experience and has been employed at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office since 1999.

The 252nd Session of the FBI National Academy consisted of 268 men and women officers from 49 states, 27 international countries, four military organizations, and five federal civilian organizations.
