CPSO arrests man for forgery and theft

According to authorites, when questioned by detectives, Brown confirmed he forged the signature and cashed the stolen checks. On January 29, Brown was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 13 counts of forgery; and theft over $1,500.

He has been released on a $10,000 bond set by Judge Wilford Carter.
