The New Orleans Saints preseason television schedule is now released, beginning with the Saints bout tomorrow night with the St. Louis Rams, according to Cox Sports.
CST's studio show, Saints Tonight! begins at 6:30 p.m., with co-hosts Victor Howell and Paul Crane. The duo will get live reports from sideline reporters Mike Nabors and John Deshazier. Nabors has been the network's Saints Insider for the last nine seasons, while Deshazier joins the team for the first time. Deshazier is currently the radio color analyst for the NBA's New Orleans Pelicans.
The game will get started shortly after 7:00pm with first-time CST announcer Joel Meyers at the helm as the play-by-play voice for CST. Meyers, the television voice for the New Orleans Pelicans, will be joined by former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Jon Stinchcomb. The second round pick from Georgia in 2003 is a former Pro Bowler for the Black and Gold where he started 80 consecutive games during his career in New Orleans.
Directly following the game, Howell and Crane will anchor a postgame version of Saints Tonight! that will include highlights, analysis and live interviews from the lockerroom.
Friday's contest at the Edward Jones Dome against former top pick Sam Bradford is the first of three games that Saints fans will be able to see LIVE on CST. Next Friday, the Tennessee Titans travel to the Crescent City to face QB Drew Brees and company in the Mercedes Benz Superdome. The final preseason broadcast on CST will be in New Orleans on August 28 against the Baltimore Ravens.
During the regular season, Saints Tonight! will hit the air on game nights at 10:30pm. Outside the Huddle, the official magazine show for the Saints, airs Thursdays at 6:00pm every week during the season and monthly during the off-season. CST also is the home to the head coach LIVE weekly press conference. The day following each game, Sean Payton will address the media from Saints Headquarters in Metairie, La.
