A recruiting event will be held Monday, Jan. 30, for Coushatta Casino Resort, which is looking to hire employees for its new casino hotel in Kinder.
The event, sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Coushatta Casino Resort in the Casino Hotel
Banquet Room, 777 Coushatta Blvd., Kinder. The recruiting event is free and open to the public.
Some of the available positions include cage cashier, food and beverage, maintenance, electrician, laundry and room attendant/housekeeping, security officer, valet, guest service, marketing, information technology, and managerial staff. Applicants must be at least 18 and bring a valid drivers license. Job seekers are encouraged to bring an updated résumé, although it is not required. While there, applicants will be asked to complete an employment application, and should be prepared for an opportunity to interview with a company representative and take a pre-employment drug screen.
