Couple arrested for prescription fraud

MONROE, La. (AP) - State police say a Monroe couple allegedly forged a prescription and attempted to fill it at a local pharmacy.

On Sunday, troopers questioned 40-year-old Shane Gorman, of Bastrop, who said his ex-wife, Temple Gray, had called in the prescription.

Investigators says the 37-year-old Gray, of Monroe, a nurse, was recently fired from her job.

Trooper say Gorman and Gray were book with conspiracy to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud, and attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud.

It was unclear whether Gorman and Gray have attorneys.
