After reaching back up into the 80s this week before the cold front, it looks like temperatures will finally cool down a few degrees below average for the weekend.
Weekend warriors who will be starting their weekend on Friday night will want to make sure they have a jacket with them, as lows will dip down into the 40s. Saturday morning will be on the cool side as well particularly in the morning. The big question will be on cloud cover, some models hinting that the layer of high clouds will thicken up for the start of the weekend.
If this happens and the clouds get in the way of the sunshine you can expect highs to struggle to get out of the 60s, however, even a little sun will help bump the afternoon highs into the low 70s. Rain chances will remain virtually non existent over the weekend, so you can leave the umbrellas at home. The next shot for wet weather likely won't arrive until about mid-week next week.
Lows will continue to be chilly overnight you can expect low to mid 50s for the next several evening, so keep that in mind if you plan on being out passed sunset. Once that sun goes down temperatures will start to cool down quickly.
Those of you who are tired of the heat, this is the weekend you've been waiting for. If finally seems like it will start feeling more like November over the next several days.
