Controversial Christmas Signs Posted By LHS Teacher

THE RANT: A Lafayette High School teacher could face disciplinary action after a sign he posted in his classroom offended students and fellow employees. What do you think? Should the teacher be disciplined by the school board? Would you be offended if you read this sign.

A Lafayette High School teacher is being investigated after putting up signs on his door about Santa.
The signs said "Santa is a peeping Tom", "he watches you while you sleep", "Santa ho's around", and "Santa is a pedophile". The American History teacher put the signs up on Thursday.
Principal Dr. Pat Lenoard says the teacher was told to take down the signs that day, but Friday he put more up and wasn't happy he had to remove the signs.
Lenoard says he's following the districts policy and determining what rules, if any, the teacher violated.
