Construction starts on distribution center

PEARL RIVER, La. (AP) - Associated Wholesale Grocers has begun construction of a distribution center at its 68-acre site in St. Tammany Parish.
The center will be the company's seventh in Southern and Midwestern states.
Associated Wholesale Grocers has 600 member owners with about 2,400 retail stores in 22 states.
