LANtec of Louisiana is offering a computer training scholarship to deserving Louisiana student.
In memory of an employee who passed away from cancer, we are offering the 4th annual Brian Bordelon Memorial Scholarship and seeking qualified
young adult candidates to apply. (Must be a resident of one of the following parishes - Acadia, Ascension, East and West Baton Rouge, Iberia, Iberville, Lafayette, Livingston St.
Landry, St. Martin, Vermilion)
To be considered, candidates should be 18 to 25 years old and must complete an application package.
A. Application with information about the applicant including:
o Contact information (Phone, address and email)
o Scholastic History
o Accomplishments, extracurricular involvement,
hobbies and their favorite NFL team
B. A 500 -1000 word essay should be included:
o Why they should be considered for this memorial scholarship (Show motivation)
o What is their interest/experience with computers
o Long range career goals - how they plan to use this training
This scholarship includes:
• 20 days of training listed on our public schedules/www.lantecctc.com (To be selected with chosen candidate based upon his/her skills and interests)
o Professional Development
• All required courseware is included
