Cochon to close in Lafayette

Cochon Restaurant management has announced that they are closing their doors in Lafayette, and the company is refocusing their development efforts in the New Orleans area. The Link Restaurant Group is planning on opening this spring at the corner of Magazine and Julie Street. Taking it's spot on Camellia Boulevard, will be Ruffino's Restaurant, based out of Baton Rouge. On their facebook page, Cochon representatives say : "We've enjoyed our time in Lafayette. We're also happy that the beautiful Vermilion River location we built will become a vibrant new restaurant serving an excellent menu from a highly regarded Louisiana operator." Their last day open will be February 10th.
