Coast Guard is Investigating an Oil Spill in Locust Bayou

MORGAN CITY, La. (AP) - The Coast Guard is investigating an oil
spill in Locust Bayou.
It says about 2,400 gallons of light crude oil spilled from an
above-ground storage facility owned by Energy 21, and about 500
gallons got into the water.
The spill was reported Thursday near Point Au Fer island.
Skimmers and containment boom were used to contain and clean up the
spill.
