Event Information and Special Notes- Co-Op is AOC's new creative media program for Acadiana teens ages 12-18. Co-Op is your place to get involved with teens your age and tell the stories you want to tell. Whether you are interested in scripting, shooting video, editing or anything in between, Co-Op gives you a place to complete the project of your dreams. Trust us, this is not a after-school daycare. This is your place to be you! During this semester-long program, you will work with other local teens to produce creative music videos, mini-documentaries, and news shows, among many other things. AOC staff and local experts will teach you the technical production skills from concept to post-production that you will need to produce festival-worthy content because that's the ultimate goal! You will submit your content to national film festivals once your projects are completed. Imagine it, you as a possible film festival winner! Co-Op is open to all AOC members at no cost. If you are not currently a member, student memberships are $25 a year. Complete attached application and submit it to AOC, 704 Lee Avenue or, by Sept. 5, 2011. We will then schedule interviews with all applicants.
