It was a beautiful start to the weekend with sunshine having some success breaking through the clouds, but as the day went on the clouds were victorious.
Mostly cloudy skies will be the order of business for the remainder of the weekend, and an unsettled pattern setting up for the early part of the work week.
Temperatures will hover around seasonal with daytime highs staying in the upper 60s to low 70s, and the evening will be mild as clouds will keep temperatures relatively mild.
Despite all the clouds expected on Sunday rain chances look slim with the best chance for an isolated shower moving through west Acadiana during the mid morning/early afternoon hours.
Showers return on Tuesday as a disturbance will move up out of the Gulf of Mexico and could provide soaking rains and possibly even a handful of storms.
In unrelated news remember that clocks move forward Saturday night, the official time is 2:00 a.m. CST when clocks will officially move to 3:00 a.m.
