Clerks at Four Stores Accused of Selling Alcohol to Underage Buyers

Lafayette police issued summonses to employees at four businesses who allegedly sold alcohol to underage undercover agents. Police say they issued summonses at the Shop Rite on Doucet Road, the Chevron in the 600 block of Kaliste Saloom Road, the Acadiana Superette on Lamar Street, and at the Chevron in the 1600 block of Moss Street. Police say they checked 28 other businesses who were found to be compliant with the law.
