The pesky lingering clouds and lingering winter chill through Friday morning will disappear for Acadiana's afternoon as sunshine returns to the area.
Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s by late in the day. Fair skies and chilly conditions are anticpated Friday night/Saturday morning with lows in the upper 40s.
This weekend will feature fair to partly cloudy skies with milder temperatures reaching the mid-70s Saturday and upper 70s Sunday.
Look for warm and humid conditions for early next week as highs push back into the lower 80s. There will be the risk of morning fog starting Sunday morning, and especially for Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The next storm system will likely bring a good chance of storms back to the area late Wednesday into Wednesday night, ending early Thursday. There may be the risk of severe weather with this system and will be better defined as we get closer to the event.
