The city of New Orleans has received three proposals for re-development of the World Trade Center building.
The 33-story tower has been a dominant feature of the New Orleans riverside skyline since the 1960s. But it's now outdated, empty and occupying prime real estate.
It's unclear whether the future of the building involves demolition or renovation. A spokesman for Mayor Mitch Landrieu's office says it likely will be next week before details are made public. City lawyers are reviewing the proposals to make sure no legally confidential information is released.
The businesses that have made proposals are identified as: Gatehouse Capital, Tercentennial Consortium and McDonnel Construction Services.
