Church Point Police Without Phones and Power

The Church Point Police Department, as of 4:00 Thursday morning, is without power or phones. Officials tell KATC about half the town is without power and much of the town is without land line service. Anyone needing emergency assistance should call 911.
For any other needs, call the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office at 788-8700 or 232-HELP.
