Church Point Man Accused of Stealing, Crashing UTV

A Church Point man is in jail after Acadia Parish sheriff's deputies say he stole a utility vehicle. Investigators say 27-year-old Dustin Simon took the four-wheeler and other items from a home in the 12000 block of Branch Highway. They say a witness reported Simon after seeing him crash the cart and flee the scene. In addition to theft and burglary, Simon faces drug possession charges.
