A routine traffic stop lead to the arrest of a 25-year-old Church Point man for possession of synthetic marijuana police say.
Jefferson Davis Sheriff Office deputies discovered synthetic pot concealed in Jason R Jenkins' vehicle during a traffic violation on I-10, according to deputies. The synthetic marijuana packages were allegedly concealed in compartments in Jenkins' vehicle. Police say, Jenkins admitted to possession of the synthetic marijuana solely.
Jenkins was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail on charges of possession of CDS I with intent to distribute and possession of CDS II .
