The deadline sign up to be a part of the Christmas festivities has been extended to Thursday, December 5 at 4 p.m.
Veterans and ladies' auxiliary groups should call or e-mail the Office of Community Development and provide information about their service and their contact information.
Groups that are walking in the parade must call or e-mail the Office of Community Development and provide the name of the organization and the contact information for the person responsible for the organization for the evening.
All golf carts must be registered in order to be in the parade. Applications are in the Office of Community Development. When the registration form is returned, participants can sign up for the golf cart decorating contest and receive their numbers, which must be placed on the front and back of the golf cart. Golf carts will be identified based on their numbers. First, second and third places will be awarded.
All vendors are required to complete a vendor application and have their own supplies to set up inside the Blevins building, including tables, a sign with their name and a sign with the items and prices.

The deadline for signing up as a parade participant or as a vendor is 4 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013.
The Christmas parade and lamp-lighting ceremony are Saturday, December 7, 2013. Line-up for the parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Jackson Street, and the parade will begin at 6 p.m. on the corner of Jackson and Main Streets.
