Help is on the way for some 300-thousand unemployed Americans.
The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill extending jobless benefits for 13-weeks.
But money will go only to 27-states where unemployment rates are 8-point-five percent or higher.
Right now Louisiana is not considered a "high risk" state.
The senate is considering a similar measure.
