Chili's on Evangeline Thruway robbed

A local restaurant was robbed at gunpoint last night by 2-unidentified suspect's minutes before midnight. Lafayette Police responded to Chili's, 3320 NE Evangeline Thruway, where the men armed with handguns, wearing blue bandanas over their faces demanded money from employees. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash from the business and fled in the manager's vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery. Police Investigators have indicated that this robbery has similarities to two other cases they are presently working. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

Stolen Vehicle: Beige, 2005 Chevrolet Impala, bearing tag # LA PJR217

Suspect Descriptions:
1) B/M, late 30's to mid 40's, 5'9" to 5'10", 170 to 190 lbs.
2) B/M, early 20's, 5'4" to 5'6", 130 to 150 lbs.
