Toddler Burned, Mother & Boyfriend Arrested

A one year old child is hospitalized with severe burns. The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office investigated and subsequently arrested Chiquita Bell (DOB: 07-02-1985, victim's mother) and Tristan Bartley (DOB: 08-01-1983, Bell's boyfriend.)
Bartley was charged with second degree cruelty to juveniles, Bell was charged with accessory after the fact. Bell and Bartley were transported to the Iberia Parish Jail.
The toddler was transported to the LSU Burn Center in Shreveport, La, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
