Chastant Road Bridge Closed

Parish President Ernest Freyou announces the closure of the Chastant Road Bridge between Highway 88 and Freetown Road effective immediately. The bridge is located approximately 1¼ miles southeast of Highway 88. The closure is necessary due to the deplorable condition of the bridge and will remain closed until further notice. No thru traffic will be allowed until the repairs of the bridge can be completed.
