Charter school approved in St. Landry

The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education approved a charter in St. Landry Parish. JS Clark Leadership Academy will be the only charter school in the parish.
According to the charter school's 300-page application, it would "provide an exceptional education to all students through project-based learning enhanced by a technology-rich environment where there is a shared responsibility for school success among teachers, administrators, parents, community members and students."
