Charges upgraded against father accused of killing son

Charges have been upgraded against a father accused of shooting and killing his son. Charles Larry Harrington is now charged with second degree murder. The initial charge was manslaughter in the death of 40-year-old Macade Harrington. The Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office said Macade was shot Wednesday night after a fight at his father's house on Dotsay Rd. in Cow Island. Charles' bond is set at $250,000.
