Census 2010 Held Kickoff Today In Lafayette

The Census Bureau is looking for people to hire to help with the 2010 Census.
A kickoff meeting was held today and KATC's Tracy Wirtz served as emcee. The goal is to get more help gathering information and encouraging people to participate.
The Census tradition started in 1790 and is held every 10 years. This year's census day is April 1, 2010.
