Causes Of Two Scott House Fires Announced

Investigators now know what caused two weekend house fires in Scott.
Officials say the fire on Shelby Oaks was caused by a heater that caused an outlet to overheat. The recepticle box then caught fire and the house sustained minimal damage.
The second fire happened at a home on Ulinor Street. Investigators say a heating unit failed, causing the fire. There was no damage to the home.
