YOUNGSVILLE- To make cardiovascular care more accessible for the Youngsville community, Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) announces the opening of a new clinic located at 1516 Chemin Metairie, Suite 100 B. Dr. Wade May will begin seeing patients at this new location on Monday, July 26.
CIS is a comprehensive cardiovascular medical practice that specializes in preventing, detecting, and treating heart and vascular disease. CIS provides a wide range of medical services which include cardiac and vascular evaluations and treatments, electrocardiography, treadmill stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear medicine studies, computed tomography scanning, and cardiac-related patient counseling.
Dr. May will continue to see patients in Lafayette while beginning to see patients at the new Youngsville clinic. A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, he has served as a staff cardiologist for CIS in Lafayette since 2009. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.
"I am eager to provide advanced cardiovascular care to the people of Youngsville right in their hometown," said Dr. May. "I hope to establish a long-term relationship with the Youngsville community."
