A homeowner received a rude awakening after a car slammed into his home early Thursday morning.
This all happening in the 300 block of Goldman Street just off of the Evangeline Thruway around 2:30 Thursday morning. The driver lost control, hitting a lamp pole before hitting the home.
No one inside of the home was injured, but the owner told KATC that the driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital. The home sustained major damage, and the owner says that it was knocked almost a foot off of its foundation.
