The Acadiana Cane Cutters team officials expect their two game series on July 26 and July 27 vs. the Woodlands Strykers to be filled not only with top quality baseball, but also numerous promotions. Both games are set for 7:00, but fans are encouraged to arrive early.
The fun will start on Saturday, July 26th, with a special gate opening time of 5:30. The first 400 paid fans will receive a Lyle Mouton Bobble Head courtesy of Nursing Specialties. In addition, it is "Bike Night," where the first 100 adults, ages 21 and over, will get a shot glass provided of Cajun Harley-Davidson. It is also "Star Trek night," where fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character. There will be a C&G Boats post game fireworks show. This night will also feature a special exhibition between the Cane Cutters players and the Lafayette Little League Challenger Division at 5:45.
Sunday, July 27th is the Cane Cutters annual "Faith and Family Night." The Trinity Bible Church Praise Band is scheduled to play right when the gates open at 6:00. 20% of all individual advance ticket sales for this game will be donated to Bridge Ministry of Acadiana. Duhon's Fun Jumps will be providing a water slide that will be free from 6 to 7. All kids will also be able to run the bases after the game courtesy of Azteca's.
The Cane Cutters are also announcing they will have another two day baseball camp from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 31 and August 1, powered by the Haddock Foundation. Registration is $50.00. Hitting instruction by Cane Cutters coaches Lonny Landry and Zach Butler will be featured. Campers will get t-shirt, lunch both days, as well as a ticket to the Cane Cutters games both nights.
