Most kids dream of going to summer camp. But it's not usually an option for the 40,000 kids born each year with heart problems. That's not the case here in Acadiana. Camp Bon Coeur, or Camp "Good Heart," is a non-profit residential summer camp for kids living with cardiovascular issues. The annual camp provides a fun and safe environment for "cardiac campers" who have the need for additional support because of their heart conditions. Today at 5 and 6, KATC's Valerie Ponseti talks to campers about how they say their experiences at Camp Bon Coeur have changed their lives.
