Calhoun Man Dies in Single Vehicle Accident

ARCADIA, La. (AP) - State police say a rollover accident has
claimed the life of a 20-year-old Calhoun man.
Troopers say equipment failure may have been the cause Sunday's
crash.
The News-Star reports 18-year-old Joshua Warner of West Monroe
was eastbound on I-20 near Arcadia when the right front wheel
appeared to come off, causing the vehicle to slide off the roadway
and into the median and overturn.
Troopers say Warner and his passenger, Shane Johnson, were both
ejected from the vehicle. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Warner was taken to Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston for
treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries. State
police say Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
