DELCAMBRE, La. (AP) - Folks in Delcambre with a taste for fresh
seafood will like a new program set up by the port.
An internet link will allow consumers to place their orders with
commercial fishermen while the boats are still out at sea.

has been running, more than 20 boats are registered on the Website
to sell their catch.
Tom Hymel, LSU AgCenter watershed specialist, says the
arrangement allows buyers to get seafood at a good price in a
custom order placed directly to a shrimper or crabber.
Hymel says buyers can make their order while the boat is still
on the water or even before it sails.
