MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Dirty socks aren't just offensive -- they can be evidence of a criminal offense. Police in Mesa, Arizona, say they've solved a home break-in -- thanks to a sock. According to authorities, DNA from the sock has been matched to 20-year-old Alberto Jose Terrazas. The Arizona Republic reports Terrazas was using socks as gloves and dropped one in the gargae of a home he had hit. Terrazas was already being held on a unrelated charge when the DNA match was made.
