BRUSLY, La. (AP) - A former assistant chief of police for the Brusly Police Department was arrested after he allegedly threatened to post obscene photos of a woman on the Internet
Police Chief Jamie Whaley says 50-year-old Thomas Charleville was arrested at his home Sunday after he allegedly threatened to expose a relationship he was having with a woman.
Whaley said Charleville also allegedly told the victim he would post the photos on a social media website if she didn't come to his job and perform a sexual act.
Charleville was booked on counts of improper telephone communication and extortion.
It was unclear whether Charleville has an attorney.
