Broussard House Fire

UPDATE: Firefighters are trying to determine what sparked a blaze in Broussard just after seven this morning.
They do know the fire started in a back bedroom.
The house is a total loss, however no one was home at the time it broke out.

Firefighters were called out to a fire at approximately 7:15am. A house was fully engulfed in flames on 204 Rue Plaisance in Broussard. It was said that a victim was trapped in the house, but there are no reports of any injuries. We'll have more details throughout the day.
