Damien Trahan's family is still searching for him, and his brother, Justin, is in Texas hoping to find his 20-year-old brother. "I'm not leaving until I find him," he said. Damien's vehicle was discovered on Hwy 77 in Corpus Christi abandoned and locked. Police said it appeared to have run off the road.
Friday, Sept. 21 was the last time Damien's family heard from him, and he was last seen leaving work at Champagne's Supermarket in Erath at 8 a.m. that same day.
Justin's search in Texas isn't turning up any clues. He said The Texas Rangers have no leads in his brother's disappearance. He's been in Texas since Monday and said he's not leaving until he finds his brother. "I am limited to the things I can find out - trying to put this puzzle together," he said.
Justin has checked hospitals, gas stations and jails hoping to find clues. His brother has never been arrested, but in a desperate attempt to find any kind of evidence, he checked arrest warrants. "It's like he disappeared," he said.
Damien is 5' 8", 155 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. He has no family in Texas, and no one knows why his truck was found there. Anyone with information is asked to call Erath Police Department at 337-937-5651 or the family at 337-523-8900 or 337-349-1119.
